Friends kept telling about this and sent me this diet plan so I’m now looking to get into intermittent fasting, mainly to cut weight and improve my focus during the day. For those who have done IF, what approach worked best for you starting out?
I've heard 16:8 is a good method for beginners - 16 hours fasting and 8 hours eating window, sensible way to start or not?
How difficult were the first couple weeks of IF for you? Any side effects I should know about? Does the hunger go away once your body adjusts?
Also any tips on what to eat and the best times to eat during the 8 hour window would be appreciated! Should I do my meals earlier in the day or space them throughout the time period?
For context I'm hoping to drop from approx. 105kg to about 95kg and gain some mental clarity from IF. If you have any other advice for a total newbie before I take the plunge, I'd love to hear it. Thanks! 💪
